This year's LIGNA (World Fair for the Forestry and Wood
Industries was referred to by many exhibitors as the "best LIGNA
ever", and surveys confirmed a significant increase in the number of
business contacts generated at the show.
Attendance up more than 10 percent, topping 107,000 and
approximate 1,879 exhibitors!
EPS Schilling‑Knobel and TPS TechnoPartner Samtronic participated
again on the booth of PALLMANN (Zweibrücken). The interest in the
Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) and the turnkey engineering +
machinery solution of the pLine by EPS/TPS and PALLMANN has been
once again tremendous, a significant number of new contacts has been
the positive result of LIGNA 2007!
Beside the WOOD PLASTIC COMPOSITES EPS/TPS and PALLMANN launched
jointly with WACKER POLYMERS and AMORIM Industrial Solutions the
Cork Plastic Composite (CPC) produced on the pFix®
in large scale 2m wide sheet or according blanks.
The ultimate HIGHLIGHT has been the announcement of the new
Thermofix Technology Center (TTC) to be opened 1 September 2007 by
EPS/TPS nearby Stuttgart. A complete pLine®
in cooperation with PALLMANN in Zweibrücken will be available for
any customer's testing and R&D for the "marriage" of the WOOD and
PLASTICS material world according to the philosophy:
