| The international conference Plastko
2005 was organized by the company Fatra Napajedla in cooperation
with the Thomas Bata University (UTB) in Zlin.
One occasion for the conference was the 70th anniversary of
foundation of the company Fatra.
Over 150 participants from all over Europe followed the
invitation of Fatra to join this conference.
30 lectures in two days informed the participants about new
trends in the field of polymers, additives, plastic processing
technologies, testing methods, environment protection etc..
We also followed the invitation of Fatra to give a presentation
about the pLine®
“Manufacturing of High-Tec-Wood Panels from Wood-plastic
Composites”.
A small exhibition gave all speakers the opportunity to show
their products and a conference dinner at the Chateau in Napajedla
was used to form initial contacts.
